If there's not, find a video for the same band. Write down the names of folks you like. The alternate step would be for you to go to iTunes and listen to a sample of the song/band.

I listen to pop, rock, alternative, country, American standards, oldies, classic rock - there's lots to choose from.Dixiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03051120501450103612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5857722065850638200.post-57147357242823021842008-10-25T19:13:00.000+01:002008-10-25T19:13:00.000+01:00Playing for Change - the transformative power of m...Playing for Change - the transformative power of music: If one had to define music as a 3-dimensional object I suspect that most would agree the first dimension would be the inherent creative/artistic talent some people have that enables them to create music (song writers, musicians, singers, recording artists, et al). It follows that the second dimension would be the tremendous enjoyment one gets from listening to their favorite performances by their favorite artist, band, choir, and/or orchestra. The above 2 dimensions of music allow us to be entertained and distracted from the mundain aspects of every day life. However, it is when we add depth that we can experience the third dimension - the transformative power of music. Bill Moyers (Frontline on PBS) recently interviewed Mark Johnson who is producing a documentary on "Playing for Change". (1) Go to this link: http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/10242008/
watch3.html (2) click on the play button (far left side of the blue bar below the pod cast window), (3) click in the blue bar until the timer on the left side is near 3:30 and
experience the third dimension of music. Best with a good set of speakers connected to your computer.
